A full board meeting of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was held in Karachi on Friday to review under inquiry and investigation cases pertaining to housing scams.
Director General National Accountability Bureau Brigadier Retired Farooq Naseer Awan chaired meeting.
It was informed on the occasion that total fifty three cases of various cooperative societies are registered in NAB Karachi in which twelve are under inquiry, nineteen under advanced stage of investigation and twenty two References are under trial at Accountability Courts of Karachi and Hyderabad.
DG NAB directed the Combined Investigation Teams to expedite the cases to recover the lands and restore their rightful owners as early as possible.
